Growing up in Hong Kong, with a father from the Philippines and a mother from South Korea, she had an international upbringing. Despite her cross-cultural background, she has managed to stay true to her roots. Able to sing in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Janice is a rare performer with a pan-Asian appeal.
After the 2005 launch of her first album Day & Night, she nabbed the major music awards in Hong Kong. Two years later, she proved she has the chops to perform live when she began her first concert series in Hong Kong. In the space of four years, Janice has become one of the biggest stars in the country.
